1934 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton Millitary troop carrier / Cargo truck.  Wood bodied troop carriers were built under Government contract and remained virtually unchanged through WWll.  The OQC contracts called for pintle / tow hook and heavy pushing bumpers in back, towing hooks in front and horizontal opening windshield (rifle access).  This truck from fort Leavenworth, Kansas has received a new Navy grey paint job and thorough restoration.  New 235 Chevy engine, four-speed standard transmission.  Top bows, stakes and canvas complete the dress, keeping everything dry, whether hauling men or material.
